Fluid Mobility’s Qbit platform offers a GPS location-intelligence solution that’s easy to use and yet flexible enough to cover the needs of any location-based application.

The Qbit solution consists of either a mobile device running our Qbit smartphone application or a permanent vehicle-mounted tracking device, and the Qbit web site – a secure, easy-to-use Web 2.0-style browser application.

Mobile Workers

Supporting either BlackBerry or Windows Mobile smartphones, as well as dedicated personal safety devices and vehicle-mounted trackers, Qbit improves the productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of staff who work outside the office. Qbit can be fully integrated into back-end office systems to provide location awareness in the link between the mobile worker and the office. Mobile communications have transformed today’s businesses, enabling people in a diverse range of locations to communicate quickly and easily. But when it comes to sending (and completing) forms, hard copy has tended to rule – often slowing down important decision making processes.

Not any more. Introducing Application Message Service (AMS), a powerful solution that converts paper forms into mobile applications. Simple and easy to use, it enables your staff to send, receive and share business information – anywhere, any time.

Using simple internet-based tools, forms can be sent to a huge range of mobile devices, including phones, smartphones, tablets and iPads. Once sent they’re stored on the devices, which means the forms can be accessed and completed even when the devices are out of mobile coverage areas. They even work with technology such as barcode and signature readers, and can capture images using the devices’ built-in cameras and GPS capabilities.

Creating the forms is easy, and sending them is a breeze. Simply choose Word, Excel or PDF format to send them, then download the forms in the way that suits you – emailed as documents, downloaded as CSV or XML files, viewed in an online database, or integrated with your existing IT systems.
